We'll get a proper look at the reborn, all-electric RSX very soon.

Acura confirmed on Friday that the 2026 RSX will be showing up at Monterey Car Week, which kicks off today and runs through Sunday, August 17. First announced in January, the '26 RSX is an all-electric coupe-over, ushering in a new era of EVs at Honda and Acura as the first model built on the brand's own platform.

The RSX will be arriving in Prototype form, but we know what that typically means for Honda and Acura: a barely-changed look at the eventual production model. Of the latter, we know little: we only know it will be built at the Honda EV Hub that is nearing completion in Ohio, and that it will run the brand's new ASIMO operating system. If it has similar specs to the Honda 0 Series models, we should expect a 241-horsepower, single-motor rear-drive model along with a 482-horsepower dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. Acura has confirmed that the RSX will arrive in dealerships in the second half of 2026.

From what we can see here, the Prototype stays true to the Performance EV concept that inspired it. There are ultra-thin headlights stretching to the corners of the front-end, now sitting below the hood (frunk?) shutline. Angular intakes sit on either side of the lower bumper, and a light-up badge sits front and center. Acura has softened the pronounced crease down the middle of the nose as well.

We'll see the 2026 Acura RSX next week—stay tuned for all the details.

A little late to the canceled EV party, eh Acura? Apparently didn't learn the lesson from the ZDX?
