Porsche Cars North America is recalling some 2024-2025 Macan 4 Electric vehicles. The brand states that the air bags attached to the front seats may be installed improperly. The issues reside in how the airbags are attached to the backrest frame. If not secured in the correct way, the airbags may not deploy properly, which increases the risk of injury during a crash.

To fix the issue, Porsche dealers will inspect and repair the backrest frame screws as necessary, free of charge. Those owners that are affected by this recall should receive notification around September 26, 2025.
