So long, Supra, and thanks for all the fish. Toyota saw fit to grant its sweet-handling sports car a farewell Final Edition with what it says are “optimized tuning, improved braking, chassis, and suspension updates.”

Key Points

  • The 2026 Toyota GR Supra Final Edition marks the end of the current-generation sports car with chassis, suspension, and braking upgrades, but no power increase.
  • Mechanical updates include Brembo brakes, stiffer bushings, revised camber angles, and exterior changes like matte black wheels and a carbon fiber ducktail spoiler.
  • U.S. models retain the 382-hp inline-six with a choice of six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic, starting at $69,085 with deliveries beginning in spring 2025.

In its official press release, Toyota wrote that the Final Edition had “ improved breaking,” but we’re pretty sure they meant braking. Humorous misspelling aside, there’s a lot to like in the package. An upgraded set of Brembo brakes, stiffer rubber suspension bushings, and revised camber angles for the front and rear wheels highlight the mechanical updates. Tuning changes don’t add more power, but they reportedly aim to make the Supra Final Edition a hardcore machine.

On the outside, 19-inch matte black wheels, a ducktail carbon fiber rear spoiler, front wheel arch flaps, and higher front tire spats set the Final Edition apart from lesser Supras. Subtle changes to the interior include Alcantara upholstery trimmed in leather and red stitching.

There’s nothing wrong with the Supra’s standard 382-horsepower inline-six engine (which is made by BMW), but we’d be remiss if we didn’t inform you that some other markets get a major upgrade to 429 horsepower with the A90 Final Edition. So it goes. Fortunately, buyers can choose from either an eight-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. We suggest sticking with the stick, which offers a more exhilarating and engaging driving experience, even if the automatic version is quicker.

Toyota says the 2026 GR Supra MkV Final Edition is available to order now, starting at $69,085 in the United States (including destination). Deliveries will begin in the spring of 2025 and end around a year later. Get it now before it’s gone.
