2025 Toyota 4Runner Pricing Announced
Toyota's iconic 4Runner is finally set to enter its sixth generation.
The 2025 model is expected to arrive in dealerships early next year with a starting price of $42,220, a mere $65 increase over the base 2024 model.
The 2025 4Runner will offer nine different trim levels including the familiar SR5 and TRD Sport trims. The popular standbys are joined by the new Trailhunter, inspired by the Tacoma. At the top of the range, the TRD Pro and Platinum models offer premium features and off-road capabilities.
Powertrain options include a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine making 278 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque, alongside an optional hybrid I-Force Max powertrain delivering 326 hp and 465 lb-ft. The 4Runner offers a variety of drivetrain options, including 2-wheel drive, part-time 4-wheel drive, and full-time 4-wheel drive.
All I-Force Max models come standard with 4-wheel drive, while the Limited and Platinum grades feature full-time 4-wheel drive with an electronic locking center differential.
The 2.4L four is the only choice on SR5, TRD Sport, and TRD Sport Premium Trims, and is offered as standard on TRD Off-Road, Off-Road Premium, and Limited trims with the I-Force Max hybrid powertrain available as an upgrade. The hybrid system is the only choice for Platinum, Trailhunter, and TRD Pro trucks.
