Polestar has unveiled new Arctic Circle models, expanding on the one-off Polestar 2 Arctic Circle introduced in 2022.

The latest additions include the Polestar 3 Arctic Circle and Polestar 4 Arctic Circle, all three vehicles will be on hand at the 2025 FAT Ice Race in Zell am See, Austria, on February 1.

Each Arctic Circle model gets raised ride height, rally-spec Öhlins dampers, custom OZ Racing wheels, and specialized Pirelli studded tires. Additional performance-focused modifications include Recaro bucket seats, Stedi Quad Pro LED spotlights, Swedish gold tow hooks, and rally-style mud flaps.

The Polestar 2 Arctic Circle is based on the Long Range Dual Motor with Performance Pack, producing 469 hp and 502 lb-ft of torque. The ride height has been increased by 30 mm, and it rides on 19-inch Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires with 250 4-mm studs for optimal grip on ice. Inside, Recaro Pole Position bucket seats replace the conventional front seats.

A paddle-operated launch control system and front and rear strut braces have also been added to enhance handling and stability. There are also Thule WingBar Edge roof rails and SnowPack ski mounts holding two pairs of Black Crows all-terrain skis mounted on the roof.

The Polestar 3 Arctic Circle, also equipped with the Long Range Dual Motor with Performance Pack, delivers 517 hp and 671 lb-ft of torque. This model receives a 40 mm ride height increase and features 20-inch Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires with 300 4-mm studs, along with Stedi Quad Pro LED front spotlights and a Stedi ST4K roof light bar.

Like its smaller sibling, the Polestar 3 Arctic Circle benefits from a front strut brace and Recaro buckets, while new OZ Racing ‘Rally Legend’ wheels make their world debut. A Thule roof basket holds a Fiskars SnowXpert shovel, Peli 1650EU Protector Case, and snow ladders.

The Polestar 4 Arctic Circle is the most powerful of the trio, generating 544 hp and 506 lb-ft of torque. It gets a 20 mm ride height increase and is fitted with 20-inch Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires with 300 4-mm studs. It benefits from the same mechanical upgrades as its siblings.

Unique to the Polestar 4 is a hydraulic drift-style handbrake—a pair of Black Crows all-terrain skis have been included as an accessory in custom ski mounts.

Polestar has yet to confirm whether any elements of these Arctic Circle models will make it to production or even an accessory catalog. Enthusiasts can catch a closer look when the lineup debuts at the FAT Ice Race in Austria.
