2025 Acura ADX Appears From The Shadows

Acura is gearing up to launch the ADX, a compact crossover that will serve as the new entry-level model in the brand’s SUV lineup.


Positioned below the RDX. It’s expected to be roughly the size of the Honda HR-V, targeting a smaller segment in the luxury market. While details are still scarce, recent teaser images provide a first look at what to expect from the upcoming model.

The ADX is expected to utilize a gas-powered engine, likely a turbocharged four-cylinder similar to the one found in the Integra sedan—look for a 1.5-liter engine delivering around 200 horsepower and paired with a CVT.


The exterior of the ADX appears to follow Acura’s current design cues, with elements echoing its larger siblings. A darkened image of the rear shows thin LED taillights resembling those found on the ZDX, along with a subtle lip spoiler integrated into the roofline. The ADX badge is visible on the right side of the bumper, while an A-Spec badge on the opposite side hints at the possibility of a sportier trim option for this compact SUV.

Inside, the ADX aims to blend luxury and practicality, featuring a large dual-glass moonroof that spans both the front and rear rows. The cabin also includes ventilated white leather seats accented with blue stitching, suggesting a focus on premium comfort. Acura is equipping the ADX with a Bang & Olufsen sound system, typically reserved for higher-end models, which could help elevate the interior feel despite its small footprint.


The Acura ADX is expected to make its official debut this fall, joining the increasingly competitive compact luxury crossover segment.
