Subaru has announced two new limited-production models for 2026: the WRX Series.Yellow and the BRZ Series.Yellow.

Each will be limited to 350 units and will debut publicly on September 14 at Boxerfest in York, Pennsylvania. Both versions are based on the tS trim and include unique suspension components along with interior upgrades.

The most noticeable feature is the Sunrise Yellow exterior paint, a color that has appeared on past Subaru models including the 2015 XV Crosstrek Special Edition and Japan-only versions of the BRZ and WRX. Inside, the yellow theme continues with contrast stitching across the seats, dashboard, and door panels.

The WRX Series.Yellow is powered by a 271-horsepower 2.4-liter turbocharged BOXER engine paired with a six-speed manual and Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. It includes electronically adjustable dampers tuned by Subaru Tecnica International, Brembo brakes, and 19-inch matte black alloy wheels with Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires. The interior features Recaro front seats with yellow accents, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and Subaru’s 11.6-inch multimedia system.

The BRZ Series.Yellow uses a 228-horsepower 2.4-liter naturally aspirated BOXER engine with a six-speed manual driving the rear wheels. Suspension upgrades include STI-tuned Hitachi dampers at the front and rear. Brembo brakes and 18-inch matte black wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires round out the performance setup. Inside, the BRZ receives black upholstery with yellow stitching on the seats, steering wheel, shifter boot, and parking brake boot.

Pricing for both models will be announced closer to their launch.
