Mercedes-AMG Announces Pricing for 577 hp E 53 Hybrid Wagon

The new Mercedes-AMG 2026 E 53 HYBRID Wagon is set to arrive at U.S. dealerships in early fall 2025. Today, the company has announced the car's starting price $93,350.

Power comes from an AMG-enhanced 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six paired with a permanently excited synchronous electric motor. Together, they produce 577 horsepower, or 604 hp with the available RACE START feature. The wagon can reach 60 mph in about 3.8 seconds and uses AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive. Standard equipment also includes AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with adaptive damping and active rear-axle steering.

An available AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package adds a limited-slip rear differential, the RACE START launch function, and larger front brakes. This package also raises the top speed from 155 mph to 174 mph.

Customers can choose from more than 10 exterior paint colors and three optional design packages, including carbon fiber and blacked-out trim options. Standard 20-inch AMG wheels can be upgraded to other 20-inch or 21-inch forged designs.

Inside, the E 53 HYBRID Wagon comes with heated power front seats, an AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather, and a Burmester 4D Surround Sound system. The infotainment setup includes a 14.4-inch central multimedia display, with an optional 12.3-inch front passenger display available as part of the MBUX Superscreen Package. Upholstery options range from standard AMG MB-Tex/Microfiber to available Nappa leather. Buyers can also choose from a variety of trim finishes, including natural wood and carbon fiber.

A special “Edition 1” model will be offered exclusively for 2026. It comes in Alpine Grey with AMG graphics, 21-inch forged wheels in black, and unique interior details.

Three trims will be available: Standard, Exclusive, and Pinnacle. The base version includes AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, adaptive suspension, active rear-axle steering, AMG drive modes, and the Burmester 4D audio system. The Exclusive trim adds features such as DIGITAL LIGHT headlights, heat and noise-insulating glass, and ambient lighting. The Pinnacle trim includes all of the above along with four-zone climate control, a head-up display, and the MBUX Interior Assistant.
