Facebook Marketplace is testing new AI tools with the goal to simplifying how users shop for vehicles on the platform. Vehicles are already among the most-searched categories for young adults in the United States, and the company says these updates are meant to make buying and selling cars easier and more informative.

When viewing a vehicle listing, users will begin to see AI-generated insights that summarize key details such as engine specifications, safety ratings, transmission type, seating capacity, cargo space, user reviews, and price comparisons — all within the same page.

The platform is also introducing a feature to assist with communication between buyers and sellers. When starting a chat, users may see a “Suggested questions to ask” prompt. This tool, powered by Meta AI, draws on listing information and the ongoing conversation to recommend relevant questions a buyer might ask before making a decision.

The updates are currently being tested, with broader availability expected after initial feedback from users.

Maybe they should spend more time on trying to get rid of all the scam sales. It seems like have the cars for sale on FB are scams.
