Two new MINI models will be making their U.S. debuts at the 2015 L.A. Auto Show.

Both models have already had their world premiere, but it will be the first time they’ve been shown at a North American auto show. The redesigned MINI Clubman that debuted at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show will be joined by the new MINI Convertible that was recently unveiled at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. In addition, the British automaker will be showing off the 500,000th MINI Countryman to mark a production milestone.

The MINI Clubman isn’t quite so mini anymore and is the brand’s largest model yet. For the first time since the nameplate was introduced in 1969, the new MINI Clubman was developed as a separate model from the Cooper Hardtop, resulting in a rare combination of passenger comfort and cool styling while being fun to drive. The new MINI Clubman will go on sale in the U.S. starting January 2016.

The newest member of the MINI family, the MINI Convertible, will go sale in the U.S. in March 2016 and the company is picking the perfect spot to debut it in the U.S. with Los Angeles.

“The new Clubman strikes the perfect balance between MINI’s heritage and future, while the new Convertible offers open-top driving without compromise” said David Duncan, vice president MINI of the Americas. “Both cars represent the unique and premium style of MINI and I’m excited for our U.S. consumers to see them.”
