What Makes the ZEON XD Special

The original ZEON series winch is an amazing product, and after over 10 years of development time with the ZEON, Warn came through with some improvements. The ZEON XD 10- S and ZEON XD 12-S have new high-performance, high-efficiency electric motors and gear trains. When you add those two elements together you get a winch with fast, best-in-class, no-load line recovery speeds of up to 40 ft/min. This gets you back on the trail/road faster after you’ve got your ride out and operational.

The ZEON XD winches have certified IP68 submersion and high-pressure-tested IP69K waterproof construction with new and improved O-ring rubber sealing. This keeps the outside elements from getting inside the winch, ensuring years of reliable performance. All of the electrical connectors have been upgraded for higher corrosion resistance standards, too. Plus, the OEM-grade bus bars provide efficient electrical connections. A Complete Package

Designed, engineered, tested, and assembled in Warn’s state-of-the-art facility in Clackamas, Oregon, the new ZEON XD is available in two capacities – the 10,000 lb. ZEON XD 10-S, and the 12,000 lb. ZEON XD 12-S. The “S” designation comes from Warn’s use of Spydura synthetic rope. Known for being strong, lightweight, and easy-to-handle, synthetic rope makes for an easier recovery. The ZEON XD 10-S includes 100 feet of ⅜-in. Spydura synthetic rope, while the ZEON XD 12-S uses 80 feet. Abrasion sleeves and forged steel hooks come with both winches. Warn also uses a larger diameter aluminum drum to reduce stress on the rope, giving it a longer lifespan of use. Warn added upgraded black hawse fairleads to both ZEON XDs for superior corrosion, impact, and UV resistance to keep everything functioning properly and looking good.

Control

The ZEON XD uses a 12-foot corded waterproof remote. Or you can use the HUB wireless control receiver with over 100-feet of range by using the WARN HUB app on your smartphone. It works with both iOS and Android systems.

ZEON XD winches use ultra-reliable Albright contactors for precise and reliable electrical control. The removable control pack gives you more flexibility with mounting by adding the control pack relocation kit (sold separately). This lets you mount it in the bumper or other compact spaces.

And don’t worry if you stop the winch in use. Warn uses its six-segment cone brake that will hold the winch’s full-rated load. This means that however steep or deep the situation, the winch can hold the entire weight of the load capacity and not slip.
