Toyota Gives The Supra A Super Sendoff
The Toyota Supra A90 Final Edition has been unveiled as a final sendoff for the current-generation Supra.
Available exclusively in Europe and Japan, this limited-run coupe is capped at just 300 units and features significant upgrades over the standard six-cylinder model. The A90 Final Edition retains the B58 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six. However, power has been bumped to 429 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque, a substantial increase over the standard 382 hp and 369 lb-ft in the U.S.-spec model.
For Europeans the increase is even more lucrative, as the Euro-spec Supra only offers a detuned 335 hp due to emissions regulations.
The A90 Final Edition receives several performance upgrades designed for track rats—larger 19-inch Brembo front brakes, adjustable KW suspension, and an Akrapovič titanium exhaust. Toyota has equipped the car with lightweight staggered wheels wearing Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
Aerodynamic improvements include a front spoiler, rear swan-neck wing, carbon fiber hood duct, and additional canards—all of which Toyota says will improve cooling and downforce. The A90 also shares components with Toyota’s GT4 race car, such as an aluminum rear subframe mount and strengthened front-cowl brace.
Toyota is offering the A90 Final Edition Supra with a six-speed manual transmission only. The manual gearbox pairs with revised electric power steering and modified stock camber angles.
Inside, the A90 Final Edition boasts carbon fiber Recaro bucket seats, red seatbelts, and extensive use of Alcantara. These features are aimed at blending track-ready functionality with premium comfort.
Alongside the A90 Final Edition, Toyota is introducing a partially updated Supra 3.0 globally, branded as the Lightweight Evo in Europe. This variant features chunkier Brembo brakes, reinforced underfloor bracing, and aluminum stabilizers. Cosmetic updates include matte black wheels, a carbon fiber ducktail spoiler, and red interior accents.
Production of the current Supra at Magna Steyr’s plant in Graz, Austria—where it is built alongside the BMW Z4—is expected to conclude soon. While the A90 Final Edition marks the end of the fifth-generation Supra, Toyota has hinted at a sixth-generation model but has yet to announce an exact timeline.
