Nissan Built A Drift Truck And Tons Of Other Cool Concepts For SEMA

Like just about every other major automaker, Nissan is at SEMA with some sweet new concepts it’ll never make and hopefully, some stuff it will actually produce. The group covers a pretty good spread, from drift trucks to off-roaders to a retro-inspired sports car. This is everything Nissan brought to SEMA this year:
Nissan TARMAC Concept: All The Details
Frontier TARMAC Concept
Who doesn’t love a drift truck? This one is based on the recently updated 2025 Frontier, if you can even call it a Frontier after all the changes. Nissan updates the bodywork with a widebody kit, vented hood, spoiler, new wheels, and an aero package. There’s also the custom livery featuring the new-for-2025 Afterburner Orange paint.
The Tarmac makes a hilarious 400 horsepower thanks to a Roots supercharger, a prototype NISMO intake, and NISMO exhaust system. Braking has been upgraded in response to the new power figures, courtesy of the Nissan Z NISMO. Of course, the truck has been lowered on adjustable coilovers and features a sweet custom interior complete with a hydraulic hand brake.
Nissan Z Legend Accessory Package Concept: All The Details
Nissan Z Legend
The Nissan Z Heritage Edition was only made in limited numbers, but its styling was such a hit that Nissan wants to bring the looks back with this accessory package concept. Hopefully, Z owners will be able to get their hands on production versions of these pieces at some point. Nissan uses the Heritage Edition’s looks to update the existing Z’s wheels, adds a carbon fiber rear spoiler, over-fenders, the Heritage Edition front bumper, and special graphics.
Nissan Project Trailgater Concept: All The Details
Project Trailgater
Project Trailgater brings some ground clearance to Nissan’s SEMA offerings. Like the TARMAC concept, it is based on the Frontier but takes the truck’s off-road attitude to the extreme with a lift kit, bed rack, cargo cases, pod lights, and new beadlock-capable wheels.
Nissan kinda misses the point of camping here, but the concept also includes a pair of weatherproof 43-inch TVs (so you can watch Brie Larson sell you an Ariya). There are also powered coolers and a grill to make sure the great outdoors and the TV dinner can continue to co-mingle.
Nissan Kicks Beach Patrol Concept: All The Details
Kicks Beach Patrol
The Kicks Beach Patrol is basically a softroader in beachy EMS guise, with a lift, off-road tires, and a roof rack. It also offers a shower kit and bull bars on top of the Baywatch-core livery.
Nissan Kicks Urban Shadow Concept: All The Details
Kicks Urban Shadow
Nissan’s Kicks Urban Shadow concept is effectively the opposite of the above, and “takes inspiration from tuner culture” with lowered suspension, NISMO wheels, and a more motorsports-inspired livery. It also has a BMX bike, because cool tuner kids love BMX and the Nissan Kicks, of course.
