What’s New for 2027
For 2027, the most notable updates focus on drivability and convenience. Nissan engineers have reportedly recalibrated the Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT) software to deliver a smoother, more linear throttle response, which helps minimize the delayed ratio shifts and engine drone typical of CVTs during hard acceleration. On the styling front, a $650 Midnight Edition package is now available exclusively on the sporty SR trim, adding a Super Black two-tone roof, 18-inch black alloy wheels, black window trim, and darkened exterior badges. Finally, higher trims now offer an updated Qi2-standard wireless charging pad, delivering faster, more efficient charging for compatible smartphones.
