Jeep has introduced a new special edition for the 2025 Gladiator lineup, named the Dark Sky.

Key Points

  • Jeep has released the 2025 Gladiator Dark Sky special edition, priced from $43,095.
  • Based on the Sport S trim, it features gloss black accents, body-color fenders, and a performance hood.
  • The Dark Sky edition marks the first time a body-color hardtop is available on the Gladiator Sport S.

The Dark Sky is based on the Gladiator Sport S trim and brings Mojave looks to a lower price point. There's dark badging and decals, along with gloss black inserts integrated into the front bumper. The Dark Sky special also gains body-color fender flares and a performance hood from the Gladiator Mojave.

Jeep was quick to point out the Gladiator Dark Sky is the first time lower trim shoppers will have the option to choose a body-color hardtop—the standard Sport S has been limited to a black Freedom Top as an optional extra.

The Dark Sky package will add $1,495 to the Sport S's base price, for a total a sticker price of $43,095 before a $1,995 destination fee.

Under the hood, the Gladiator Dark Sky is powered by the same 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine delivering 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It's bolted to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to the Gladiator's standard four-wheel drive system.

Inside, the Dark Sky edition maintains the Sport S's standard equipment, including a 12.3-inch infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Cloth seats and an eight-speaker audio system are also part of the package.

Jeep says the Gladiator Dark Sky edition is available for order now.

How about making a version without the removeable roof and doors? You know, a pickup truck? I was excited when the Gladiator was first announced and disappointed ever since.
