First Look Inside the Redesigned 2027 GMC Sierra 1500 – VIDEO
When it comes to full-size pickup trucks, power and capability are non-negotiable. But inside the cabin? That is where the real battle for truck supremacy is fought. In our latest video, we got an up-close preview of the redesigned 2027 GMC Sierra 1500, and GMC has completely raised the bar for truck interiors.
Across six different trim levels and eight interior color options, GMC is offering a setup for every type of driver. In this first look, we took a deep dive into the flagship Denali Ultimate trim and the tech, craftsmanship, and storage features inside are staggering.

Craftsmanship That Borderlines on Luxury
The moment you sit in the driver's seat, the sweeping horizontal layout of the dashboard creates a clean, elegant, and modern atmosphere. As the range-topping variant, the Denali Ultimate showcases ultra-upscale cabin materials:
- Rich Contrast Stitching: Fine detail work that runs across key interior touchpoints.
- Stainless Steel Speaker Grills: Premium metallic trim covering the high-end audio setup.
- Forged Birch Wood Accents: A multi-layered, textured real-wood finish that gives the dashboard and console a truly custom, high-end feel.
Over 60 Inches of Display Real Estate
If you love clear, responsive cabin technology, the 2027 Sierra is a dream come true. GMC packed an unmatchable array of screens into the dashboard:
- 12.2-Inch Digital Gauge Cluster: Positioned directly in front of the driver for intuitive vehicle telemetry.
- 16.3-Inch Center Touchscreen: A massive focal point in the middle of the dash with instantaneous touch response.
- Front Passenger Screen: Includes a fold-down articulating cover so your co-pilot can manage entertainment separately.
- 15-Inch Head-Up Display (HUD): Projects critical navigation and driving data right onto the windshield.
- 8.5-Inch Digital Rearview Mirror: Feeds high-definition camera footage to ensure a clear view behind the bed at all times.
Ultra-Fast Google Infotainment & Hidden Features
The central display runs on a new Google-based infotainment system engineered for speed. Pinch-and-zoom map interactions run fluidly without lagging or stuttering. The ecosystem includes Google Assistant, the Google Play Store, and support for Apple CarPlay.
Bonus storage detail: The central touchscreen features a hidden storage compartment directly behind the screen, giving you a secure, out-of-sight spot to stash valuables.
The New MultiPro Center Console: A Mobile Office
Borrowing inspiration from what works best on the job site, GMC introduced the MultiPro Center Console—a standard feature on every 2027 model equipped with a console.
- Sliding & Deep Bin Storage: Slide open the upper tray or lift the entire armrest to reveal a deep storage well.
- Fold-Out Flat Workspace: The console armrest folds out into a flat, stable desk surface—perfect for laying out a laptop to answer emails or stopping to eat lunch on the go.
- Rear USB-C Power: Equipped with built-in USB Type-C ports on the back so rear passengers can keep their devices charged.
