Alfa Romeo has introduced the 2025 Intensa Special Series.

Originally announced in late 2024 and now on display at the Brussels Motor Show, the styling package will be available for the Giulia, Stelvio, and Tonale models. The Intensa lineup is an effort to bring a dash of freshness to the brand’s offerings with new finishes and unique design elements.

Exterior Updates:

  • Exclusive black alloy wheels with light-gold diamond-cut finishes (20-inch on Stelvio and Tonale, 19-inch on Giulia).
  • Gloss black moldings, black brake calipers with gold Alfa Romeo script, and Italian flag accents on the Stelvio and Giulia wing mirrors.
  • Available colors: Rosso Etna, Verde Fangio, and Vulcano Black for Giulia and Stelvio; Alfa Black, Alfa Rosso, and Verde Montreal for Tonale.

Interior Enhancements:

  • Black Alcantara seats (Tonale) or leather seats (Giulia, Stelvio) with tan contrast stitching.
  • Embroidered Alfa Romeo logo on headrests and "Intensa" branding on armrests.
  • Aluminum sport pedals and paddle shifters (Giulia and Stelvio).
  • Special accents like tan details on steering wheels and unique dashboard finishes.

The Intensa Tonale offers two powertrain options: a 1.3-liter plug-in hybrid producing 285 horsepower with an EV-only range of up to 33 miles, or a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder delivering 268 horsepower. It starts at $44,495.

The Stelvio Intensa comes equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine generating 280 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque, paired with standard all-wheel drive. Pricing begins at $55,395. The Giulia Intensa features the same 2.0-liter turbo engine as the Stelvio, with rear- or all-wheel drive on offer, starting at $49,995.

With orders now open, Alfa hopes the Intensa Special Series will help it move metal after a dismal 2024 sales performance in America—where the brand sold less than 1,000 cars—the worst since returning full-scale to the United States a decade ago.
