Subaru has announced pricing for the all-new 2026 Subaru Uncharted EV, which is scheduled to arrive at dealerships early next year.

The compact electric crossover starts at $34,995 before destination, making it the least expensive EV in Subaru’s lineup. Most models come standard with Subaru’s symmetrical all-wheel drive, while the entry-level version is front-wheel drive only. Subaru estimates a driving range of more than 300 miles for certain configurations.

All versions of the Uncharted come with 8.2 inches of ground clearance and a 14-inch touchscreen running Subaru’s multimedia system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A distraction mitigation system and Subaru EyeSight driver-assistance features are standard, along with a power rear liftgate and an all-weather package.

The lineup consists of three trims: Premium FWD, Sport, and GT. The Premium FWD model will be produced in limited numbers and uses a front-wheel-drive setup with an estimated range of more than 300 miles and 221 horsepower. The Sport and GT trims add dual-motor all-wheel drive with X-MODE, a combined output of 338 horsepower, and an estimated range of more than 285 miles.

Every Uncharted uses a 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery. A battery preconditioning system, shared with the 2026 Solterra and Trailseeker, is designed to help maintain charging performance in colder conditions and supports DC fast charging at speeds up to 150 kW. An 11-kW onboard charger is included for home charging. All models also use a North American Charging Standard port, providing access to more than 25,000 charging stations across the U.S.

Compared with the Solterra, the Uncharted is nearly seven inches shorter but still offers more than 25 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. Subaru says the turning radius is similar to the Crosstrek, which should help in urban driving. Suspension tuning and chassis development were aimed at maintaining stability and grip on surfaces such as gravel, dirt, and snow.

The Uncharted Premium FWD starts at $34,995 and includes EyeSight safety features such as pre-collision braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure alert, adaptive cruise control, and emergency stop assist. Standard equipment also includes 18-inch alloy wheels, Eco and Snow drive modes, heated front seats, heated mirrors, a windshield wiper de-icer, LED headlights, and a power rear liftgate. Inside, it comes with cloth upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless phone chargers, multiple USB-C ports, and a digital gauge cluster.

The Uncharted Sport is priced at $39,795 and adds the dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with X-MODE, increasing output to 338 horsepower. It also includes features such as roof rails, StarTex upholstery, a heated leather steering wheel, a surround-view camera system, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist, and additional seat adjustments and memory functions.

At the top of the range, the Uncharted GT starts at $43,795. It adds a panoramic glass roof, ventilated front seats, a Harman Kardon audio system, available two-tone exterior paint, 20-inch wheels, heated rear seats, and a digital rearview mirror. Range for the GT is estimated at more than 270 miles.

The 2026 Subaru Uncharted will be offered in five exterior colors, with select shades available in a two-tone configuration on GT models. Assembly takes place in Japan. Destination and delivery charges are $1,450 in most states, with higher fees in certain regions.
