Roush Performance is Switching Sides

Long time tuner of Fords, Roush Performance, appears to be heading in a new direction this summer. The company may be best known for modifying Mustangs and Ford trucks, but according to an Instagram post by Roush, Ram trucks will soon join the fray.

What this means exactly we do not know, other than Roush Ram trucks are on their way. Will Roush stop making the company's current line of hopped-up Ford F-Series trucks? It's unclear, but working with more than one automaker isn't uncommon for Roush as the company is currently also selling a modified version of the Nissan Frontier.

The move to modifying Ram trucks makes a lot of sense, especially after Ram introduced a new lineup of V8-powered Rumble Bee sport trucks. With three levels of tune right from the factory, there will be amble opportunity for Roush to unleash all manners of custom parts and upgrade packages. So, for those with a shiny new Ram 1500 on order that might want to push things even further, it appears Roush will have your back.
