Mattel is expanding its Mattel Brick Shop lineup for 2026 with seven new vehicle-themed building sets, along with plans to branch into other categories, including Masters of the Universe sets.

The new releases are split across the brand’s Premium, Elite, and Speed Series collections and include officially licensed models from Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Audi, Toyota, and Chevrolet. According to Mattel, the sets are designed to appeal to both builders and collectors, with features like metal components, opening doors, steering functions, interchangeable parts, and matching 1:64-scale Hot Wheels die-cast cars included with each build.

Leading the new lineup is the Lamborghini Miura P400 SV, a 1:12-scale premium collector set marking the car’s 60th anniversary. The 1,524-piece model includes opening compartments, a removable roof, detailed interior and engine components, and customization options like alternate wheels and spoilers.

The Elite Series adds three more detailed builds, including the Aston Martin Vantage GT3, the ’84 Audi Sport quattro, and the ’94 Toyota Supra MKIV. Each features functional elements like steering and opening panels, along with customization options aimed at recreating race, rally, or tuner-style looks.

The smaller and more affordable Speed Series includes the Lamborghini HuracĂ¡n Sterrato, a ’83 Chevy Silverado, and the Chevrolet Corvette C8.R. These sets focus on compact builds with removable roof sections, opening doors, and customizable details.

Ted Wu, General Manager and Global Head of Vehicles & Building Sets at Mattel, said the company’s goal is to create models that are rewarding both to build and display, while continuing to expand into new categories and collaborations.

The Lamborghini Miura P400 SV is available now for preorder through select retailers and Mattel Creations.
