Limited Edition Fiat 500 Sessantesimo Celebrates The Minicar's 60th Birthday
Fiat is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Fiat 500 with the debut of the new 500 Sessantesimo at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
The 500 Sessantesimo (Italian for “sixtieth”) will be limited to just 560 units and is available in cabriolet form only. The model is set apart from standard 500s by its two-tone ‘Dolcevita’ paint work, which consists of a three-layer white lower section, a pastel Ivory upper part and a grey and burgundy pinstripe separating the two shades. A ‘560’ badge on the B-pillar and 16-inch alloy wheels round out the exterior changes.
Cabin occupants will be greeted with an upscale space that includes Ivory leather seating with burgundy piping, a burgundy vinyl dashboard, a numbered commemorative plaque and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shifter. Fiat’s 7-inch UConnect system with sat-nav is standard, as is cruise control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a premium Beats audio system, bi-xenon headlamps, tinted rear windows and automatic rain and dusk sensors.

The 500 Sessantesimo will be available with Fiat’s 68-horsepower 1.2-liter and 84-horsepower 0.9-liter gas engines and 94-horsepower 1.3-liter MultiJet II diesel. It will go on sale in European and Asian markets on March 9th, with deliveries commencing on July 4th. Pricing has yet to be announced.
