Next Nissan GT-R Coming in 2016 Model Year

Nissan will have a new GT-R for the 2016 model year, although details about the new supercar killer are sketchy.
Building the GT-R around a hybrid drivetrain would keep the car up to date compared to other high-end performance cars coming soon. Acura’s new NSX will be a hybrid, and the Porsche 918 Spyder is a plug-in hybrid. Ferrari’s new halo car, the La Ferrari, uses a regenerative hybrid system, and the McLaren P1 halo car is a plug-in hybrid.
