Pagani Zonda R Evo Set for Goodwood Festival of Speed Debut
It’s hard to believe that one could improve on the amazing Pagani Zonda R. The track-only model weighs in at a scant 2,359 lbs, packing 750-hp and 524 lb-ft of torque thanks to its AMG-sourced 6.0-liter V12 engine.
But the Italian exotic automaker knows no limits, with the Zonda R Evolution set to make its official debut at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed. The event commences on June 29th, where some of the world’s finest automobiles converge but most will have a very hard time to stand out against the Zonda R Evolution.
Improving on a near-perfect machine, the Pagani Zonda R Evolution will have 10-hp more than the standard Zonda R model and will be driven by Bernd Schneider at the famous hill climb during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Even though 10-hp may not sound like a notable improvement, the Zonda R Evolution will also see an improvement in weight distribution paired with aerodynamic tweaks.
We’ll anxiously be awaiting the debut of the ultimate track toy.
