With a low profile and large wheel arches, the UX looks more like a crossover hatchback than a traditional SUV. The diminutive stature and hybrid technology make this is one of the more efficient small luxury SUVs on the market.

Lexus UX Overview

The Lexus UX 300h is now exclusively a hybrid model, replacing the previous UX 250h. It features the fifth-generation Lexus Hybrid System, combining a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with electric motors to produce 196 horsepower. A new lithium-ion battery replaces the previous nickel-metal hydride unit, contributing to improved efficiency and acceleration. Front-wheel drive models have an estimated 43 mpg combined, while all-wheel drive versions achieve 41 mpg. The UX 300h can be equipped with Lexus’ E-Four all-wheel-drive system, which applies additional power to the rear wheels when needed.

Standard features include a driver-focused interior with an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane tracing assist, and automatic emergency braking. Higher trims offer a 12.3-inch display, ventilated seats, and an upgraded Mark Levinson audio system. The UX is available in Base, Premium, and F SPORT trims, with the latter adding a sport-tuned suspension and exclusive styling elements.
