BMW X3 Recalled for Unintended Steering Wheel Movement
BMW is recalling certain 2025-2026 X3 vehicles, for what the brand states is unintended steering wheel movement. When the vehicle is stationary, apparently some unexpected steering wheel rotations may happen. So rest assured owners, your vehicle is not possessed, nor is it the start of Stephen King's Trucks coming to fruition. It's simply a software glitch that needs fixing.
BMW will correct this issue, free of charge, through an over-the-air software update, or owners can visit their local dealership to have the fix performed. Owners of affected (or infected) vehicles should have official recall letters mailed out by February 2, 2026. If that's too long to wait, owners can also contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.
