Tesla Looking To Move Cybertruck Inventory As Quickly As Possible

Tesla has lowered Cybertruck lease prices again, the second major reduction in two months as the company looks to move existing inventory.
Leasing prices for the Cybertruck initially launched at $999 per month in November for the base All-Wheel Drive variant, with a $7,500 downpayment. That rate subsequently dropped to $899 in December—now Tesla has cut it further to $749 per month.
Tesla allows lessees to modify or remove the downpayment entirely. The default lease for a base Cybertruck is $749 per month over a 36-month term with $7,500 down. Skipping the downpayment increases the monthly cost to $987.
In addition to the lease adjustments, Tesla is now offering a free vinyl wrap for new Foundation Series Cybertruck purchases. The wrap, typically priced at $6,000, is available at participating locations. Tesla has been working to sell off early production models, and reports from December suggested that the company even removed the “Foundation Series” branding from unsold trucks to rebrand them as standard Cybertrucks, dropping the price by $20,000 in the process.
The latest price cuts suggest Tesla is looking to move Cybertruck inventory as quickly as possible, especially in light of China and Canada's retaliatory tariffs against the United States.
