VIDEO: 2026 Subaru Forester Wilderness Unveiled

Subaru unveiled the 2026 Forester Wilderness at the Chicago Auto Show—marking the first Wilderness model built on the updated Forester platform introduced last year.


While the overall formula remains familiar, the latest iteration brings incremental refinements and some additional off-road enhancements. Mike Schlee was on hand at the Chicago Auto Show for the launch of the 2026 Subaru Forester Wilderness. Check out the video below:

The 2026 Forester Wilderness gains LED hexagonal fog lights, underbody protection, and a series of anodized copper-finish exterior accents, including tow hook covers on both the front and rear bumpers. As expected, Wilderness badging is prominently displayed throughout the vehicle.


More details on powertrain updates and pricing are expected as the model approaches its fall 2025 launch.
