Ram Unveils Factory Supercharger Upgrades for 2027 Rumble Bee 1500s
Ram is turning up the heat on its street-truck portfolio before the first models even hit dealership floors. The automaker’s factory-backed performance division, Direct Connection, has introduced a catalog of high-performance upgrades for the V8-powered 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup.
Headlining the catalog is a 3.0-liter supercharger kit capable of pushing the range-topping SRT model past the 900-horsepower mark without voiding the vehicle’s factory powertrain coverage. Priced at $10,995 before installation, the Direct Connection supercharger package centers around a 3.0-liter twin-screw blower paired with a high-capacity air-to-water intercooler.
2027 Ram Rumble Bee Direct Connection Kits: All The Details
For entry-level Rumble Bee trucks powered by the naturally aspirated 5.7-liter Hemi V8, the bolt-on supercharger bumps output from a standard 395 horsepower to over 600 horsepower. Stepping up to the 6.4-liter Hemi V8 found in the Rumble Bee 392 models raises output from 470 horsepower to more than 700 horsepower.
The flagship Rumble Bee SRT already leaves the factory with a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 generating 777 horsepower. However, the Direct Connection kit replaces the stock 2.4-liter supercharger with the larger 3.0-liter unit, launching total output beyond 900 horsepower. Ram confirmed that this same 900-plus horsepower supercharger upgrade will also be made available for the off-road-focused Ram 1500 TRX.
Beyond forced induction, Direct Connection is offering supporting chassis and breathing modifications to match the extra power. A stainless-steel Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system featuring three-inch mandrel-bent piping and five-inch black tips is available across the lineup. Pricing for the exhaust starts at $1,599 for 5.7-liter models, $2,299 for 392 variants, and $2,399 for the SRT.
For coil-sprung 5.7-liter and 6.4-liter models, Direct Connection offers a Ridetech suspension package with an anticipated retail price of $4,590. Featuring HQ-series coilovers with 24-way adjustable damping, the kit lowers the front suspension by one inch and the rear by three inches to sharpen cornering performance and deliver a proper lowered muscle-truck stance. Exterior graphics packages with color-coded supercharger logos on the hood and bed sides round out the aesthetic upgrades.
Crucially, installing these upgrades does not mean sacrificing peace of mind. When the supercharger kit is installed by an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified Mopar technician at a Ram dealership, the vehicle retains its standard 5-year or 60,000-mile factory limited powertrain warranty.
Ram Announces Relatively Affordable Price For 2027 1500 Rumble Bee
The base 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee carries an entry price of $62,790 and is slated to arrive at dealerships in late 2026. More powerful iterations will roll out during the first half of 2027, with the Rumble Bee 392 starting at $72,790, the 392 Track Pack at $82,790, and the range-topping SRT at $97,790
