FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- The 2026 Nissan Sentra offers a ton of value, with four trims starting under $30 grand. Even for the compact car segment, that's a solid proposition. And the interior is where that value is most evident.

I recently spent an afternoon test-driving the handsome 2026 Sentra with a focus on its cabin. Our full first drive review can be found here.

Generally, I liked the Sentra in SR trim. I sought it out because it's near -- but not the top -- of the range. Nissan hawks the SR as a sporty variant, and that's evident in the red stitching and 64-color ambient lighting, while the exterior has a blacked-out grille, 18-inch wheels, and a unique rear spoiler and bumper.

The SR starts at $26,245, including destination, and that feels inline with the materials and layout of the interior. The base model S starts at $23,645. While others have turned away from small cars and cars in general, Nissan says the Sentra remains a profitable product line.

I found the touchscreen easy enough to use. The vents and controls are laid out nicely to create a sporty look, and the seats are comfortable. For more, watch my short video review below.
