Honda has officially revealed full pricing and specifications for the new 2026 Passport.

The base 2026 Passport model starts at $44,750—a $2,350 increase over the outgoing model. The SUV features updated styling, enhanced off-road capability, and more standard tech. Honda is positioning the Passport as a more rugged, well-equipped mid-size SUV to better compete in the segment.

The 2026 Passport now features boxier styling, increased ground clearance, and an improved approach angle for better off-road performance. Standard features on the base RTL trim include a power liftgate, 18-inch wheels with 31-inch tires, heated leather seats, and a wireless smartphone charger.

Under the hood, the Passport continues to use Honda’s 3.5-liter V6, producing 285 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive with torque vectoring help the SUV maintain capability across various terrains. The available Tow Package ($700) adds a Class III trailer hitch and rear recovery points.

The TrailSport trim brings gloss black accents, amber DRLs, LED fog lights, steel skid plates, and a trailer hitch. It also includes an off-road-tuned suspension and General Grabber all-terrain tires.

Inside, the TrailSport's synthetic leather seats feature orange contrast stitching and embroidered TrailSport logos. A panoramic sunroof and a heated windshield are standard. The TrailSport Elite trim focuses on luxury, adding ventilated perforated leather seats, a heated steering wheel, a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, rear climate controls, and a 360-degree TrailWatch camera system.

The 2026 Passport's minimalist cabin includes a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Honda’s Sensing suite of driver assistance features remains standard across all trims, offering Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Information, Lane Keeping Assist, and Traffic Sign Recognition.

"Passport plays a pivotal role in our Honda lineup, with the highest conquest rate of any Honda SUV and more buyers under-40 than key competitors in its segment," said Jessika Laudermilk, assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales. "We expect the authentic rugged design and off-road performance of the all-new 2026 Passport and Passport TrailSport to attract even more young, active, weekend adventurers to the Honda brand."

With pricing similar to the Toyota 4Runner, Honda is banking on the Passport’s mix of capability, updated tech, and premium features to stand out in the increasingly competitive mid-size SUV segment. The 2026 Honda Passport is available now.
