Ford Recalling Transit Van For Unsecured Engines
Ford is recalling 1,403 2023-2024 Transit vans. The reason for the recall has to do with the engine crossmember that might not be secured properly. This can cause the engine to shift or move, which possibly could result in a loss of drive power and/or brake failure.
To remedy the issue, Ford dealers will replace the cross member fasteners, free of charge, once available. A final solution is still being worked on at this time. Letters to affected owners are expected to be mailed by February 20, 2026. In the meantime, customers can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332.
