Chevrolet has unveiled the C8 Corvette's mid-cycle refresh. The update focuses almost exclusively on the interior, with a reworked cabin based on customer feedback.

Key Points

  • The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette receives a significant cabin update, including a reworked dashboard with new screen layouts, a redesigned center console, and relocated climate controls, while retaining the overall exterior design.
  • A 12.7-inch infotainment screen, 14.0-inch digital gauge cluster, and an additional 6.6-inch driver display are now standard, along with updated Performance Traction Management (PTM Pro) and improved Performance Data Recorder functionality.
  • Visual changes are limited to new paint colors, an electrochromic roof for hardtop models, and brake upgrades for ZR1 models equipped with the ZTK package.

For 2026, the C8 Corvette will ditch the controversial wall of buttons that separated the driver and passenger. The car's climate control buttons are now arranged in a more conventional horizontal layout just below the central infotainment screen.

The central infotainment screen has grown to 12.7 inches, while the main driver display has been expanded to 14.0 inches. A third, 6.6-inch auxiliary screen to the left of the main cluster has been added for 2026. The smaller screen is dedicated to vehicle telemetry like fuel economy, G-forces, and the Performance Traction Management (PTM) system.

A carbon fiber housing for the main display is standard on the ZR1 and optional for Z06 and E-Ray. The central divider where the buttons used to live is still there, but has been repurposed as a passenger grab handle.

A revised center console includes repositioned drive mode and gear selectors and new cupholders. There’s also a wireless charging pad and several new interior color and material choices, including asymmetrical designs that visually separate the driver and passenger zones. Buyers can even select different seat colors for each side.

On the tech front, Chevrolet has given the Corvette a new PTM Pro mode for the 2026 model. This track-oriented setting deactivates most of the car's driver aids—traction and stability control included—while retaining ABS and, in the case of the E-Ray, front-axle control. This mode is available across all trims.

The E-Ray's Performance App has been adapted for the rest of the Corvette lineup and is included as standard equipment. This allows owners to see live horsepower and torque flows. There's also an acceleration timer, a G-force gauge, and the app will display key vehicle vitals in real time.

Updates to the Performance Data Recorder allow for more seamless integration with the upgraded screens. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto remain standard.

Visual changes to the exterior are subtle. Hardtop models now come with an electrochromic roof that can adjust its tint level. The E-Ray gets standard body-colored rocker panels, while blue brake calipers are newly available on the Z06 and E-Ray.

A red asymmetrical center stripe and two new paint colors— Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver Metallic—expand the customization options. The ZTK package for the ZR1 now includes a new braking system with 10-piston front and 6-piston rear calipers, paired with carbon-ceramic discs.

Pricing for the 2026 Corvette will be announced later in the year.
