Chrysler Recalls 170,000+ Pacifica and Voyagers Over Air Bags
Chrysler is recalling 178,246 versions of the 2022-2026 Pacifica and Voyager minivans. The recall centres around the right and left side curtain air bags that may not have enough of what the brand calls pressure retention from improperly sealed seams.
Because of this, the vans fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 226, "Ejection Mitigation." As well as the vans, another 105 after-sales side curtain air bags are also being recalled.
To fix the issue, Chrysler dealers will replace the side curtain airbags, as necessary, free of charge. For owners with affected vehicles, letters should be mailed out by 14, 2026. In the meantime, customers can contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403.
