Cadillac is marking its 125th birthday with an Escalade V-Series. The new special-edition 2027 Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Collector Series starts at $239,000, bringing a massive price tag, exclusive styling, and collector-focused details to the brand’s supercharged full-size SUV.

Limited to just 252 examples, the special edition is available in two exclusive finishes: Midnight Stone Frost and Vibrant White Tricoat. Each SUV rides on unique 24-inch (!) forged wheels and features carbon-fiber accents around the grille, rear fascia, and mirror caps. Blue brake calipers, dark-finished badges, and illuminated V8 Heritage puddle lamps further distinguish the anniversary model.

Cadillac has carried the special treatment into the cabin as well, which is good because the exterior changes frankly aren't much. The interior combines black and gray upholstery with Santorini Blue stitching and seat belts. Exclusive floor mats, anniversary badging, illuminated door-sill plates, and a matching blue key fob round out the upgrades.

Buyers can also select their vehicle identification number and collector serial number, adding another layer of exclusivity. Still, not a ton to show for the "special edition," but we appreciate that they're doing it. Sure would be better if it was a CT5-V Blackwing, wouldn't it?

Underneath the (pretty minimalistic) cosmetic changes, the Escalade-V remains mechanically unchanged. Its hand-built, supercharged 6.2-liter V8 produces 682 horsepower and 653 lb-ft of torque, delivering the same performance as the standard model.

That makes the anniversary edition more about rarity than outright speed. At $239,000, it commands a $66,805 premium over the regular 2027 Escalade-V, which starts at $172,195.

Orders are open in the United States and Canada. With production capped at 252 units, Cadillac is betting that its most devoted customers will pay (a whole lot) extra to own a piece of its history.
