After a relative lull in product introductions, Cadillac has a pipeline of new vehicles ready to boost the brand’s fortunes. Or so the General Motors division hopes.

Cadillac has announced it’s expanding its vehicle subscription service.

Perhaps I’m too trusting, but it only took me about three minutes to go from hands hovering over the steering wheel to leaning back in the driver’s seat with my arms crossed. Cadillac’s Super Cruise system is so good that it builds driver confidence almost immediately.

The Cadillac CT6 will become the first car to officially drive hands-free from one side of the country to the other.

You can’t compare the traditional passenger car segment to the Titanic speeding towards an iceberg, as the once market-leading segment tore its hull open on that crossover-shaped berg long ago. Cars, especially in North America, are rapidly taking on water and sinking by the bow.

Cadillac is giving its CT6 sedan a facelift.

Cadillac says its “Super Cruise” is the industry’s first true hands-free driving technology for the highway, and it will be debuting very soon.

The CT6 is Cadillac’s largest sedan, sized and equipped to challenge models like the Audi A8 and Lexus LS. But thanks to copious amounts of advanced engineering it’s up to 1,000 pounds lighter than some of its competitors.
