Liqui Moly's Truck Series Will Keep Pickup Running Strong

Liqui Moly is all about high performance automotive lubricants, but that doesn’t mean just sports cars. Liqui Moly’s German engineering know-how applies to your pickup, too. The company has a line of lubricants and additives designed specifically for the needs of your pickup, both light and heavy-duty.

The Truck Series was designed to solve one big problem: the gradual loss of performance over time that turns what was a powerful workhorse from the factory into a lame pony a hundred thousand (or more) miles down the road.

Over the life of your truck, after thousands of miles of towing, hauling, off-road driving, and using (and occasional abusing), it can lose some performance. Deposits build up inside the engine, robbing performance and efficiency.

Trucks see high heat for a long time when towing or hauling. Travel trailers, boats, lumber, heavy equipment, all can take a toll. And that makes deposit buildup worse – and a bigger issue – than it is for cars, which see a life of leisure compared with your truck.

Deposits mean more friction inside your engine and poor combustion – preventing the air and fuel from mixing properly. Those lead to lower performance and higher fuel consumption. The effect snowballs, with poor performance leading to even more deposits in your engine and hurting performance even more.

These deposits take time to form, so you might not notice it. You don’t walk out one morning to a sluggish and thirsty truck, it’s like turning up the temperature of the water very slowly over years of driving.

So how does Liqui Moly help?

Start with Complete Gasoline System Cleaner. Liqui Moly’s carefully developed mix of additives cleans deposits out of the fuel system of your truck. That goes for your late-model fuel-injected truck or a classic carbureted workhorse. Cleaning deposits from your fuel system makes sure you get proper fuel atomization. Your fuel-air mix burns more effectively, boosting fuel economy and power, and helping your engine run like new.

Diesel trucks aren’t left out. Liqui Moly has a Complete Diesel System Cleaner too. It’s designed for turbo and non-turbocharged diesel engines. It cleans deposits from your lift pump and high-pressure fuel pump caused by fuel contamination and time. It will clean out your fuel injectors and even the combustion chamber of your engine. With a diesel, fuel atomization and injector timing are even more important than in a gas engine, making this a key additive for your diesel truck.

Complete Diesel System Cleaner is for helping solve a deposit problem, but Liqui Moly’s Truck Series Diesel Performance and Protectant is for preventing the problem from starting in your new truck, or keeping it clean after the Diesel System Cleaner does its job. Long-term maintenance instead of a deep and intensive scrub.

This one can remove fuel system deposits, but its job is to help prevent corrosion, increase the lubrication that is key to fuel pump and injector life, and to boost Cetane levels for easier starts and lower emissions. Safe for diesel trucks with DPF and catalytic converters, it can help you maintain peak performance for the long haul.

Modern diesel trucks use Diesel Particulate Filters to help keep diesel combustion soot from being pumped from your engine into the air. But these filters can clog, causing tough to fix and expensive emissions systems problems. Liqui Moly Truck Series DPF Protector is engineered to help reduce the formation of soot inside your engine. Less soot means improved engine performance. Less soot protects your DPF by reducing premature clogging and that can extend fuel-draining and time-sucking DPF regeneration intervals for your diesel truck.

Last up in the Truck Series, for drivers of gas and diesel pickups, is Truck Series Oil Treatment. Liqui Moly’s Oil Treatment is blended to immediately reduce friction inside your engine by adding a protective layer to all oiled parts.

The layer protects your engine during cold starts and keeps up that protection when things heat up. With reduced friction thanks to Liqui Moly Oil Treatment, your engine can see lower fuel consumption, longer engine life, and even make less noise at start-up and while you’re driving. Using this oil treatment with every oil change can help keep your engine working like new.

Pickup trucks, especially diesel trucks, aren’t built like everyday cars. Trucks have bigger fuel tanks and larger injectors. Trucks, especially diesels, hold much more motor oil than a car does, too.

So Liqui Moly has formulated its Truck Series line with that in mind. Instead of needing three car-designed cans for your 30-gallon tank, Liqui Moly’s Diesel System Cleaner will treat that much fuel with a single container. All of the Truck Series additives come like this, making cleaning and protecting your truck’s engine even easier.

How does Liqui Moly hold up in extreme conditions? Ask Baja racer Armin Schwarz. The longtime World Rally Championship rally-winner and Baja 1,000 competitor uses the Truck Series additives in his diesel tow rig and his 960 horsepower Ford Raptor Trophy Truck. He said that “these additives are unbeatable when it comes to keeping the performance of my trucks right at the top and protecting them against all hindrances.”

So now truck owners can experience what sports car owners have known for decades. The performance restoration and protection of Liqui Moly’s line of German-made performance additives.
