The new G20 BMW 3 Series is nearly ready for its big debut and the German automaker is hyping things up with a teaser video for the new sedan.

The video shows the new 3 Series being built at BMW’s Dingolfing plant in Germany. Several parts of the video reveal never before seen aspects of the highly anticipated G20 3 Series, including the headlights, taillights, the uncovered side profile, interior and more. It also gives us a good look at how the new 3 Series will be made at the Dingolfing site, which is BMW’s largest production facility with a workforce of over 18,000 employees.

BMW recently dropped some information on the 3 Series’ new available four-cylinder engine, which will be the most powerful four-pot ever fitted to a BMW. While exact specs on the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine aren’t available, the most powerful four-cylinder BMW engine to date is the 255 hp B48 2.0-liter turbo, so this new four-cylinder will have at least 260 hp on tap. The automaker’s beloved inline-six will appear in the sedan, although official details aren’t available. Expect a plug-in hybrid variant as well, along with entry-level three-cylinder models for Europe.

According to Autocar, the first 3 Series variant to arrive will be the M340i M Performance, which will feature the automaker’s 360 hp turbocharged inline-six engine. We’re expecting to see its eight-speed automatic transmission paired with every engine in the lineup, while both rear-wheel drive and xDrive all-wheel drive will be on offer depending on the model variant or trim level.

The new G20 3 Series will ride on BMW’s new CLAR (cluster rear architecture) platform, which also serves in the 5 Series, 7 Series and 8 Series. The sedan will be longer than the outgoing model by about 60mm and has a longer wheelbase than the current Mercedes C-Class, which BMW engineers benchmarked during the 3 Series’ development.

The G20 BMW 3 Series will make its debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show in just a couple short weeks. For now, get familiar with the luxury sedan in the video embedded above.
