Coachbuilt Alfa Romeo 4C is Even Prettier Than the Original
If you ask us, the Alfa Romeo 4C is a good-looking car with nice proportions and carefully styled front and rear fascias.
But the Italians are masters of automotive design, so it should come as no surprise that an Italian coachbuilding company has managed to improve on the already pretty 4C’s exterior design.
The coachbuilt 4C, called the Costruzione Artigianale, was built by Italian styling outfit Mole Automobiles. It blends the Italian automaker’s current design language with some of Mole’s own design preferences, resulting in something that looks as though it could be a production Alfa Romeo. It even looks like Mole plucked the grille, rear diffuser and quad-tip exhaust from the Giulia Quadrifolgio for the Costruzione Artigianale, but it’s possible the components are just highly accurate recreations.

Mole also completely redid the 4C’s barren interior with new leather, different aluminum trim and a redesigned steering wheel.
It’s not clear if Mole made any modifications to the 4C’s powertrain. The stock 4C, for reference, makes 237 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque from its 1.75-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
The Mole Costruzione Artigianale will make its public debut today at the Torino Auto Show in Italy, but you can get familiar with it in the in-depth video above.

Sorry, but putting lipstick on the ugly face of that pig does not make it pretty. There is arguably some fine engineering, but the face is just plain ugly.
