Stellantis is recalling 65,348 Ram trucks due to a software issue that could cause the instrument cluster display to go blank.

The recall captures certain 2025 and 2026 model-year Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 pickups, along with Ram 3500, 4500, and 5500 cab chassis models.

According to documents from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a fault in the instrument panel software may lead to a loss of critical information on the display, including data related to gear position, braking systems, lighting, stability control, tire pressure monitoring, and airbag status.

Because of the potential loss of these functions, the affected vehicles may not meet several federal safety standards covering braking performance, occupant protection, lighting, and electronic stability systems.

The fix involves a software update to the instrument panel, which dealers will perform at no cost to owners. Stellantis expects to begin notifying customers by mail on May 28, while affected vehicle identification numbers will be available through the NHTSA database starting April 16.
