Porsche has brought back its enthusiast-focused 911 Carrera T for the 2025 model year, building on the formula of sporty handling, lightweight materials, and a six-speed manual transmission.

The big news for 2025, Porsche will offer the Carrera T as both a coupe and, for the first time, a cabriolet. The 2025 Carrera T is powered by the standard 3.0-liter twin-turbo boxer engine, producing 388 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. This setup provides a 0-60 mph acceleration in 4.3 seconds for the coupe and 4.5 seconds for the cabriolet. Both models reach top track speeds of 183 mph for the coupe and 182 mph for the cabriolet.

True to its driver-focused design, the Carrera T offers only a six-speed manual transmission, featuring an exclusive walnut ball shift knob.

Equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), the 2025 Carrera T sits 10 mm lower than the base 911 Carrera and includes sport-tuned dampers and larger brakes. Rear-axle steering and Porsche Torque Vectoring further improve agility.

In a nod to its classic roots, the Carrera T is stripped down for performance—featuring lightweight glass, minimal sound deadening, and optional carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) bucket seats to reduce weight even further.

The Carrera T is visually distinct, sporting Vanadium Grey Metallic accents on the mirrors, wheels, and door decals, with an optional Gentian Blue accent package for added customization. The interior has a retro-inspired look, featuring a shift-pattern logo on the dash, plaid-patterned seat centers, and Sport-Tex fabric on standard heated Sport Seats Plus. Optional packages include a leather interior with Gentian Blue stitching, which extends to seat belts, trim, and instrument cluster accents.

The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T is available to order now, with a starting MSRP of $134,000 for the coupe and $147,300 for the cabriolet, plus delivery fees. The cars are expected to arrive at U.S. dealerships next summer, ready to deliver a purist sports car experience with Porsche's signature engineering excellence.
