2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T: All The Details
The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T, a purist’s model in the 911 lineup, makes its return with a focus on driver engagement and lightweight performance. Available in both coupe and, for the first time, cabriolet body styles, the Carrera T is designed to bring a raw, enthusiast-centered experience back to the 911 range.
This model is exclusive to a six-speed manual transmission, making it the only 911 Carrera variant without an automatic option. Weighing in at just 3,316 pounds in coupe form, it’s the lightest of the Carrera models, thanks to features like lightweight glass and reduced sound insulation. To enhance its agility, Porsche equips the Carrera T with rear-axle steering as standard, a feature usually reserved for higher-trim models. The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) dampers are also specially tuned for the Carrera T, lowering the suspension by 10 millimeters for a sharper, more responsive feel on the road.
Inside, a unique shifter with an open-pore, laminated walnut finish distinguishes this model from its 911 siblings, adding a touch of classic style to the cockpit. With three pedals, six gears, and only one transmission choice, the 911 Carrera T offers a back-to-basics driving experience aimed squarely at Porsche enthusiasts.
