Could This Hint at the Next Nissan Pathfinder and Xterra?
Nissan has just unveiled a new Terrano PHEV concept vehicle in China and it looks great. Resurrecting a name used in other markets for the old body-on-frame Pathfinder, the Terrano PHEV clearly appears to be a body-on-frame design with a rear-wheel drive bias, as evident in the teaser video the brand released below.
Two weeks ago Nissan confirmed a slew of new body-on-frame mid-size SUVs are on their way and this appears to be our first taste. The manufacturer also announced during the Auto China 2026 show that a production version of this SUV will be sown within a year.
Nissan Terrano PHEV Concept: All the Details
Looking at the teaser of the new Xterra, it's clear the Terrano PHEV concept has a different hood line and lighting setup. So, this won’t be exactly what we get in North America, but it’s at least a nice design preview of the direction the brand is headed. We can’t wait to see the new Xterra and Pathfinder.
