2026 Maserati MCPURA: All The Details
The MCPURA is an updated version of Maserati's MC20 supercar and it will be available in both coupe and convertible layouts. Like the MC20, the MCPURA retains the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, delivering 621 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque, propelling the car from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 202 mph for the coupé and 199 mph for the Cielo.
Design mods to the MCPURA include a subtly reshaped front grille and splitters, drawing inspiration from the another version of the MC20, the GT2 Stradale. At the rear, a more pronounced diffuser and an enlarged spoiler have been added, alongside new badging. Maserati says they put in the wind tunnel work to refine the car's aerodynamics, though specific figures on drag or downforce were not shared.
With MCPURA, Maserati has introduced exclusive color options, such as Devil Orange—honoring Maria Teresa De Filippis, the first woman to qualify for a Formula 1 Grand Prix. Another featured color is Ai Aqua Rainbow, which Maserati has shown in matte for the coupe and gloss for the cabrio.
Inside, the MCPURA features a new steering wheel design inspired by the GT2, with optional shift lights and carbon fiber elements. The cabin incorporates increased use of Alcantara, new badging, and distinctive scuff plates. While the infotainment system remains unchanged from the MC20, the MCPURA includes performance displays from the GT2 Stradale. A six-speaker audio system is standard, with an optional 12-speaker Sonus Faber system available.
The MCPURA will be produced entirely in Modena, Italy, with customization options offered through Maserati’s Officine Fuoriserie program. Pricing details have not been announced, but deliveries are expected to start at some point this year.
