Ford Performance is expanding its catalog of factory-backed upgrades with a new supercharger kit for 2026 F-150 and Mustang models equipped with the 5.0-liter V8, offering customers a turn-key route to higher output without stepping outside the Ford ecosystem.

Developed in collaboration with Whipple Superchargers, the kit lifts the F-150’s 5.0-liter output to 700 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. In the Mustang GT and Dark Horse, the numbers climb higher. With the active valve exhaust system, output is rated at 810 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque. Models equipped with the standard exhaust are rated at 800 horsepower.

The package is engineered to integrate with factory systems and is validated to Ford’s 100,000-mile durability standards. Ford Performance says the calibration and hardware have been developed to work within the existing vehicle architecture, and the upgrade does not alter the vehicle’s electronically limited top speed.

Unlike many aftermarket forced-induction systems, the Ford Performance kit is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty when installed through approved channels. The kit will cost you $10,500, regarldess if you own an F-150 or a Mustang.

Supercharging the 5.0-liter Coyote is not new territory for Ford, but the scale of the gains here reflects the ongoing appetite for V8 performance even as the industry pivots toward electrification.
