Honda Just Answered Every First-Gen NSX Owner’s Prayers
Owners of the first-generation NSX now have a factory source for hard-to-find components. Acura has launched the Honda Heritage Parts program in the United States, beginning with more than 3,000 Genuine Honda Reproduction Parts for the 1991 to 2005 NSX. Buyers can get them only at Acura dealers across the country or through the Honda DreamShop.
The program, which first launched in Japan in April, supports classic Acura and Honda performance models. The U.S. rollout starts with the original NSX. More models are promised, as the company intends to grow the catalog over time.
"Honda Heritage Parts was created to help our customers enjoy their classic Acura and Honda performance models, and it's appropriate that we begin with an iconic model like the first-generation Acura NSX," said Mamadou Diallo, executive vice president at American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "By supporting our customers in preserving the legacy of the NSX, we're celebrating our shared passion for these iconic sports cars and keeping them on the road for today's enthusiasts and future generations."
Acura did not detail which specific components make up the initial catalog of more than 3,000 parts, or pricing for individual items. The company also has not specified a timeline for expanding the program to additional classic Acura and Honda models.
For 2026, the brand sells four vehicles: the Integra sport sedan and three crossovers, the ADX, RDX, and MDX. Roughly 85 percent of the Acuras sold in America last year were built domestically, drawing on parts sourced at home and abroad.
Owners can access the reproduction parts through any Acura dealership or directly via the Honda DreamShop. Acura notes that the parts offering is subject to change without notice.
