Milestone and Mattel used the 2026 Summer Game Fest showcase to announce Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, a new arcade racing game scheduled to launch on September 24 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam, Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store. Players who purchase early access will be able to start playing on September 21.

The game takes place across a series of large environments built around the familiar Hot Wheels scale and design style. Instead of being limited to the brand’s signature orange tracks, players can explore four themed islands, jump between areas, break through obstacles, and search for collectibles while taking part in races and free-roaming activities.

More than 150 vehicles will be available across four vehicle classes, each with its own handling characteristics and upgrade paths. The lineup includes original Hot Wheels creations as well as vehicles from automotive brands such as Ferrari.

Multiplayer options include online racing with cross-play support and local split-screen play for up to four players. Competitive modes, leaderboards, and asynchronous challenges are also included.

Customization remains a major part of the experience. Players can personalize vehicles using sticker, livery, and wheel customization tools. The track editor has also been expanded with new features, including a system that allows track pieces to be placed directly on the ground within the game world. Players can create custom tracks, add AI-controlled opponents by placing action markers, and share their creations across supported platforms.

Hot Wheels Infinite Rush launches September 24, with early access beginning September 21.
