2024 Hyundai Santa Fe NHL Edition Comes With a Signed Bedard Jersey
That's a top-shelf clapper there, buddy.
Hyundai Canada—or is that Hyund-eh?—has announced more details on its 500-unit Santa Fe NHL Edition. We first heard about this beauty back in January, and now that we've driven the Santa Fe itself, we've got more info on the limited edition, customizable SUV.
Today's big news includes the price of the Sante Fe NHL Edition: $58,999 CAD, including destination. In addition to that, every buyer will get a signed jersey from Canadian rookie Connor Bedard. Hyundai Canada will also donate $500 USD from each SUV's sale—or a cool quarter-mil—to the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation, the charitable arm of Bedard's current team. As previously reported, buyers will be able to showcase their team pride with customized door sills carrying their preferred squad logo. The same goes for the carpet mats, while Hyundai-branded floor liners and a cargo try round out the interior upgrades. All bar the carpet mats are provided by Canadian companies to boot.
Yes, all teams are available for selection, not just Canadian teams. We'd wager most probably will go for national pride, but hey, maybe there are a few Kraken fans itching for a new ute...
The NHL Edition comes coated in a Creamy White matte paint, exclusive to this edition. Based on the top Ultimate Calligraphy trim, the NHL features a Pecan Brown Nappa leather interior with all the tech of the top-shelf trim, including dual wireless chargers, a UV-C sterilization cubby, and 12-speaker Bose audio system.
While the Ultimate Calligraphy is typically only available with the 2.5-liter turbo engine in Canada, the NHL Edition swaps in the 1.6-liter hybrid setup. This turbocharged, electrified powertrain throws down 231 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque.
Folks wanting a piece of the NHL Edition action should stop riding the pine and make a beeline for their local Hyundai Canada dealers.
