Automobile insurance costs vary widely across the United States. Vehicle theft rates, the likelihood for extreme weather, insurance fraud, and other risk factors all impact rates for drivers in all 50 states. Even within the same state, drivers in different metro areas have higher rates than others. For instance, Michigan residents living in the Detroit Metro area pay several hundred dollars more per month than the state’s overall average.

Rates also fluctuate based on the vehicle being insured, with high-performance and expensive luxury cars carrying higher premiums than less expensive family cars. An owner’s credit score and driving record also factors into individual rates, with DUI convictions standing out as the single most expensive violation you can have on your driving record.

If you think car insurance in Colorado is expensive wait until you try to register a car here. The lib morons in this hillbilly sheithole have made it almost impossible to buy a new car. I had to pay over $1,400 to register, now the idiots don't call it a tax but it is based entirely on the sticker of the vehicle, on my new F-150 Raptor. If any of you are entertaining moving here...DON'T! Colorado is a hillbilly, white trash honey bucket.
