Porsche’s upcoming Macan crossover will initially reach the U.S. with a 3.0-liter V6 and a 3.6-liter turbo unit according to leaked slides from a dealer meeting.

The latest generation of Porsche 911 (the 991) is quickly expanding in terms of trims and models. With the new GT3 being unveiled at Geneva last week proving to be the ultimate Porsche, today we bring something a little bit more relaxed: the 911 Targa.

Days after the car first debuted, Lamborghini announced how much American buyers will pay for its Aventador LP700-4 Roadster: $441,600.

Targa Newfoundland, the ultimate North American tarmac rally, is organized every September for seven days and travels across 2,200 kilometers, or 1,200 miles, of amazing central Newfoundland road.

Porsche may be bringing back the old-school Targa top in the next-generation 911 after rumours have spread that the current sliding-glass assembly has become too heavy and expensive. Porsche stopped producing the old-school set up after the 1996 993 model came out featuring an electronic system. After a 15 year hiatus, we may see the old targa set up make a comeback.

Then, after a very successful run in the 1990s, the company was sold in 2004 to Nikolay Smolensky, a young Russian businessman with no previous experience at running a car company. As many predicted, the company went under in 2006, and while many attempts have been made to revive TVR, it still has not emerged from the ashes.
