Ford has expanded the availability of its rear inflatable safety belt feature, adding it onto the 2014 Fusion and making it the only vehicle in its class to offer the technology.

The Ford Fusion is gaining a new 1.5-liter engine for the 2014 model year, and the brand has just released preliminary specifications on the new motor. 

Starting with the 2014 model year, the Ford Fusion mid-size sedan will come with six powertrain options now that a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine is being added.
